Activities

Take a dip in our sparkling clean in-ground swimming pool, and the kids can enjoy the new playground. We also have a community fire pit that burns most nights. Come down and sit by the fire and meet some new friends.

We are only 20 minutes away from Baxter State Park, named after former Governor, Percival Baxter. The Park offers over 200 miles of trails for hiking and back country trekking, and over 40 peaks and ridges for mountain climbing.  Climbing Mt. Katahdin, Maine’s highest peak at 5,269 feet,, via one of three trail heads is a 8-10 hour adventure for most people.(Daily use passes are required to climb the mountain).  There are also numerous opportunities for wildlife photography or just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. The Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument is  approximately 10 miles away and offers a 16 mile scenic loop road, hiking and mountain biking trails. Some other great hikes include The Ice Caves and Gulf Hagas.
